NASRUP S3 ROAD UPGRADE
SUVA, FIJI

Flame Tree were engaged as a main subcontractor to Higgins who had the contract to complete Sections three and four of the NASRUP S3 road upgrade contract from Nakasi to Rewa Bridge in Suva.

Flame Tree scope of work was installation of all underground utilities including stormwater water supply, telecom and electricity reticulation.

A significant element of this project was the construction of a twin barrel, 1800mm diameter stormwater culvert. This was particularly challenging given the depth of excavation was 8.5m below the new pavement level. All aggregate, including cement stabilised backfill and revetment rock was supplied from our Waimanu Quarry.
